Job summary

Purple Innovation, LLC is seeking a Kitting Supervisor to oversee daily kitting operations and ensure timely production. You will coordinate with production, purchasing, and receiving to secure materials and assign tasks with clear instructions for assembling products.

The role emphasizes material handling, storage optimization, data entry in WMS/ERP, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Performs all activities associated with the job consolidation function in the Warehousing Department, including kitting of materials, storage, inventory control, operating a forklift, and preparing product for production.
• Ensure all required materials are accounted for and ready for upcoming production work orders.
• Enter information and update records in the WMS/ERP systems and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Will coordinate with production managers, purchasing, receiving and inventory control in regarding required materials for upcoming work. Will assign tasks and review production work orders to make sure all information is complete and assigned associates are provided with all necessary information and materials to carry out a correct assembly of product. Understand the established warehouse storage plans and receiving processes. Work involves: Job Consolidation, noting and reporting discrepancies or obvious damages; routing materials to storage locations; marking material with identifying information, storing, and stacking materials; rearranging and conducting physical inventories of kitting area; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration or damage; removing material from storage when required. Enters information and updates records in the computer. Involved in Continuous Improvement efforts.
