Job summary

Ollie in Harvey, LA is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensure accurate freight flow to the sales floor, and manage back stock. The role requires leadership of associates and adherence to safety and merchandising standards.

The RTL will coordinate unloading, verifying shipments, and setting up displays while maintaining efficient operations and high customer service standards. Evening and weekend availability is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to work evenings, 3rd shift, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise direct vendor shipments to the sales floor.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Adhere to pricing accuracy and report discrepancies to supervisor.
• Direct the work of other associates in freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty as scheduled or assigned.
