Job summary

Mike Hudson Dist. is seeking a Receiving and Inventory Supervisor to oversee all incoming shipments, manage the receiving department, and ensure timely, accurate storage and distribution.

The role requires hands-on leadership of receiving staff, strong organization, and coordination with other departments to optimize warehouse operations and control costs.

You'll maintain accurate records, monitor stock levels, and uphold safety and efficiency standards in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience in receiving and inventory management.
• Knowledge of warehouse procedures and equipment.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all receiving operations, including unloading and sorting of deliveries.
• Ensure that all incoming shipments are accurately and promptly processed.
• Supervise and train receiving staff.
• Monitor the accuracy of all receiving records, including inventory and stock levels.
• Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
• Identify and resolve receiving and inventory discrepancies.
• Monitor and control operational costs.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth and accurate operations.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize process.
