Material Handler/Picker

Diamond Mowers is seeking a Material Handler/Picker to join our team. The primary responsibility is pulling and picking orders for production in a climate-controlled warehouse environment.

Key Roles

• Efficiently and accurately pull and stage work tickets for assembly.
• Deliver parts to the assembly department for in-progress, priority work orders.
• Locate difficult parts using experience, observation, and available resources (MAS).
• Verify parts description and quality of pulled parts.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull work tickets and verify completeness on MPD.
• Inspect and verify parts for order accuracy.
• Report critical obstacles to the supervisor for planning.
• Operate forklift or rolling ladder safely to pick orders and store parts.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, focusing on safety and detail.
• Match ID to parts during stocking and pulling.
• Follow inventory procedures and assist in inventory counts.
• Collaborate with management to improve practices and productivity.
• Process outside vendor paperwork through the Receipt of Goods module.
• Label incoming products with date, parts, quantity, and initials.
• Use proper lifting techniques and safety gear at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Other duties as assigned.

Location: 350 E 60th St

Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm

Days: Monday - Friday

Qualifications

• 1 year of material handling experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry.
• Experience working at heights preferred.
