Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is hiring a Receiving Warehouse Material Handler to move products from our warehouse to customers and to prepare orders for shipment.

You will fill orders accurately, package items, and load trucks in a fast-paced, team-driven environment with a focus on customer satisfaction. This full-time 1st shift offers competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs regularly, or up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanner.

Responsibilities

• Package products and load them onto trucks for delivery.

Receiving Warehouse Material Handler

Location: Minneapolis, MN

Job type: Full Time

Schedule: 8am start, Monday-Fri (1st shift)

Hourly pay: $21.00/hr - $26.00/hr (pay increase within range based on warehouse experience brought to job)

Compensation for this position includes hourly pay, short-term incentive bonus, and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role.

What You'll Do

As a warehouse associate, you're key to driving a great customer experience by getting products from our warehouse to our customers. As orders come in, you help fill them accurately by finding the right products and getting them packaged and onto our trucks. You'll work in a positive, fast-paced environment with a supportive team.

What You Bring

• Be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, or up to 75 lbs. with the assistance of supportive equipment or team members
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
• Willingness to learn how to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (we provide training)
• Ability to work in various temperatures within our warehouse
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
