Job summary

C.H. Guenther & Son is seeking an entry-level Shipping and Receiving associate for our manufacturing facility. Responsibilities include unloading, loading, inspecting, and relocating raw materials, and delivering materials to production personnel as needed.

The role requires accuracy, strong safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Overtime and weekend work may be required; a forklift certification is expected to be obtained if not already held.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One year of forklift experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Unload, load, inspect, and relocate raw materials upon receipt in Shipping and Receiving.
• Pull raw materials and deliver to production personnel as needed.
• Move finished goods to warehouse racks.
• Pick, stage, and inspect outbound loads and load trailers.
• Document transactions to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Work in the freezer for extended periods.
• Assist in cycle counts and document shipping/receiving information.
