**General Job Description**

We are seeking a Receiving Material Handler to manage the receipt and storage of materials efficiently and accurately. This role is vital to our production team, requiring comprehensive knowledge of materials and manufacturing workflows.

**Duties & Responsibilities**

  1. Maintain a calendar of incoming materials and plan for off-loading
  2. Fulfill department requisitions and deliver parts within the factory
  3. Conduct material inspections and review purchase orders
  4. Ensure proper documentation of materials
  5. Follow material control procedures
  6. Communicate effectively with procurement, supervisors, and production staff
  7. Manage inventory and storage of materials
  8. Meet deadlines and schedules
  9. Adhere to safety guidelines at all times
  10. Perform site cleanup and preparation tasks
  11. Move materials safely using appropriate equipment

**Requirements**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years forklift operation experience
  • Construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to interact confidently across all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe
  • Excellent written communication skills

**Qualifications**

  • Experience in shipping and receiving is a plus

**Physical Requirements/Work Environment**

This role involves physical activity, including lifting up to 70 pounds, working in noisy, dusty, and odorous environments, and performing tasks requiring mobility, reaching, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
