Job summary

Ferguson North Charleston, SC is seeking a Receiving Manager to lead a team of hourly associates on a 1st shift starting at 8am. You will oversee unloading, inbound accuracy, and order fulfillment while maintaining a safe, clean, and organized warehouse.

Reporting to the Senior Warehouse Manager, you will mentor staff, establish performance standards, coordinate with HQ and drivers, and drive continuous improvements in receiving operations to support efficient deliveries and inventory control.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in a Warehouse Management or Warehouse Supervisor role.
• Experience with receiving/inbound and inventory control preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities for a team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise unloading and stocking of inbound shipments with accuracy.
• Coordinate space utilization and maintain clean, orderly warehouse.
• Provide mentorship and direction on receiving procedures.
• Communicate with receiving clerks, HQ, and drivers about schedules.
• Address PO and receiving document discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure safety practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct counseling and performance appraisals as needed.
