Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Town of Ithaca, NY is seeking a Receiving Department Supervisor to oversee inbound receiving operations, verify receipts against purchase orders, and ensure accurate paperwork and product integrity. You will lead a team, enforce policies, and drive accuracy, safety, and efficiency on the dock and in the receiving areas.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator required.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior experience in big box receiving environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operations of the receiving department, matching received inventory to purchase orders and reviewing discrepancies.
• Process inbound and outbound shipments and ensure pricing and signage are correct.
• Supervise Receivers/Receiving Clerk; mentor team members in receiving/inventory control.
• Ensure safety equipment is functional and receiving doors/alarms are secure.
