Job summary

Grocery Outlet is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for 1st shift in Washington. You will support the Receiving Department, handle data entry, verify documents, and maintain accurate records to ensure timely deliveries to stores.

The role requires 1+ years in shipping/receiving, forklift experience, and proficient Excel skills, with a focus on accuracy and customer service. Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, full-time, with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in shipping and receiving or related logistics roles.
• Experience safely operating forklifts and pallet jacks (training provided).
• Strong attention to detail and accurate paperwork.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
• Able to communicate clearly with team and customers.
• Support SOX compliance for the department.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries.
• Inbound scheduling by Phone, Email or Online.
• Coordinate with Transportation to prepare work.
• Receive BOLs from drivers and verify quantities.
• Create and scan receiving documents daily.
• Record merchandise quantities against purchase orders.
• Log and track problems with receiving/shipping and coordinate resolution.
• Close and dispatch outbound loads when ready.
• Input high volumes of data into spreadsheets for incoming merchandise.
• Record shortages and discrepancies.
• Communicate via phone, email, and in person to coordinate returns and credits.
• Maintain friendly, efficient customer service.
