Job summary

White Cap is seeking a Receiving Associate in an on-site role in Austin, TX. You will receive, count, and store items, record data, and maintain stock accuracy while coordinating with purchasing and shipping vendors to resolve issues.

Candidate should have 0-2 years of experience, with forklift experience preferred and familiarity with Oracle or similar order systems. This position offers a path in a growing national distributor for construction projects.

Qualifications

• Prior forklift experience is preferred.
• Experience with sales order software, preferably Oracle.
• Knowledge of construction and industrial products.

Responsibilities

• Receives, counts and stores items.
• Records receiving data using a computer and company software.
• Packs, unpacks, and marks stock items properly and accurately.
• Identifies incorrect or short shipped items and notifies supervisor.
• Communicates with shipping vendors to resolve delivery issues.
• Delivers products, supplies and equipment to the correct designated area.
• Works closely with purchasing to track shortages for late/slow delivery.
• Files purchase orders correctly based on company policy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Generally has 0-2 years of experience.
