Job summary

Deringer--ney-Inc. in Bloomfield, CT is seeking a Receiving/Warehouse Attendant to handle the physical receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. This full-time role requires reading bills of lading, unloading trucks, and posting receipts in a warehouse system.

You will train on forklift and pallet jack use, maintain a clean workspace, and support shipping with packing as needed. A high school diploma or GED is required, with prior warehouse experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Warehouse/inventory control experience preferred
• Ability to read and interpret bills of lading & purchase orders
• Operate forklift and pallet jack safely
• Some knowledge of manufacturing computer operations; Excel and Word experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret bills of lading and purchase orders.
• Unload trucks as needed.
• Generate receiving tickets and post receipt of requisitioned goods.
• Deliver received goods to destination within plant.
• Delivery of customer returns to responsible departments.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly warehouse.
• Must be able to drive forklift – training will be provided.
