Job summary
Element Materials Technology in Enfield, CT is seeking a hands-on Shipping & Receiving Associate to support a fast-paced operation handling 80-100 customer orders daily. You will receive, stage, move and ship materials, operate a forklift, and coordinate with carrier platforms to ensure timely, accurate packing and shipment.
Ideal candidates have forklift experience, shipping/receiving background, strong attention to detail, and reliable attendance in a high-volume warehouse.
Qualifications
- Forklift experience and ability to operate forklift safely in a warehouse.
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse, logistics, or distribution environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized under pressure.
- Reliable work history with good attendance and dependability.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Responsibilities
- Receive, stage, move, and ship materials throughout the facility.
- Safely operate a forklift to transport large, heavy materials.
- Process shipments through carrier platforms such as UPS, FedEx, and DHL.
- Ensure orders are accurately packed and shipped on schedule.
- Maintain organization and accuracy in a high-volume shipping environment.
- Collaborate with operations and warehouse teams to support daily business needs.
