Job summary

Meyer Distributing is hiring a Receiving Lead to join our Kingman, AZ team. The role will lead employees to ensure productivity, supervise truck receiving, and ensure all paperwork is sent to posting. You will organize and secure products for transport and report safety issues to management.

The position offers an hourly rate of $18.00–$20.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews and a stable 1st shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting.
• Must grasp, push and pull with hands for duration of shift.
• Must endure extreme hot and cold temperatures and humidity and work in a noisy environment.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and squat for duration of shift.
• Demonstrate leadership and communication skills up and down the org chart.

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving of trucks and supervise the team to maintain productivity and accurate paperwork.
• Lead employees to ensure productivity and accuracy of paperwork and processes.
• Organize and secure products for transport or relocation.
• Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management.
• Provide coaching and safety observations as needed.
• Respond to emails and requests promptly.
