Job summary

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Receiving Lead to join our Kingman, AZ team. The Receiving Lead will lead employees to ensure productivity, supervise the receiving of trucks, and ensure all paperwork is sent to posting.

Organize and secure products properly in preparation for being transported or moved; report safety issues to management. Responsibilities include coaching and safety observations, responding to emails promptly, and applying attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
• Stand, walk and squat for shift duration.
• Work in extreme temperatures and a noisy environment.
• Able to work up to 25 feet above ground level.
• Basic computer skills and Meyer VMS familiarity.
• Demonstrates leadership, dependability and coaching abilities.

Meyer Distributing is looking for a Receiving Lead to join our Kingman, AZ team!

The Receiving Lead will lead employees to ensure productivity ,supervise the receiving of trucks ensure all paperwork is sent to posting. Organize and secure products properly in preparation for being transported or moved. Report safety issues or concerns immediately to management. Administer appropriate coaching and safety observation as needed. Respond to e-mails and requests in a timely manner.

Hourly Rate for Receiving Lead:

$18.00-20.00 with opportunities for increases through performance reviews

Schedule: (End times may vary)

1st shift: (Stable schedule: 5-day work week ~40 hours)

Monday-Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Requirements for Receiving Lead:

• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds


• Ability to engage in repetitious bending and lifting


• Must have ability to grasp, push and pull with hands for duration of shift


• Must have ability to endure extreme hot and cold temperatures and humidity and work in a noisy environment


• Must be able to work up to 25 feet above ground level


• Must have ability to stand, walk, and squat for duration of shift

Receiving Lead duties include but are not limited to:

• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Meyer VMS software


• Positive attitude and the ability to motivate employees


• Ability to give special attention to detail


• Ability to identify letter and numbers


• Demonstrate leadership skills and abilities


• Planning/organizing and follow up skills


• Quality control -the individual demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and monitors their own work to ensure quality
