Job summary

FOX Factory in Gainesville, GA is seeking a Receiving Lead who will oversee and assist the receiving team, ensuring accurate intake of materials and proper documentation. The role requires strong leadership to coordinate shifts and train staff in receiving activities.

Position Summary

Leads and assists receiving team in receiving materials and other clerical duties related to receiving goods.

Position Responsibilities

• Keeps records on incoming shipments.
• Monitors incoming shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of receiving shipments.
• Consults with management to clarify department priorities, identify problems, and suggest changes for improvement.
• Inspect incoming material for defects.
• Directs movement of incoming shipments from shipping and receiving area to storage and/or work areas.
• Prepares required department records and reports.
• Recommends measures to improve productivity, equipment performance, and quality of service, and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency.
• Trains and assists workers in receiving activities.

Specific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required

• Strong leadership capability
• Excellent problem-solving capacity
• General computer skills (Email, Excel)

Position Qualifications

• Education: HS degree or equivalent required.
• Experience: 2+ years of Manufacturing experience required.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

• Production/Manufacturing environment
• Lifts up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Requires walking, standing, bending and lifting for long periods of time.
• Vision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer.
