Location: 5851 Guion Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46254
IN100 Distribution Center
Full-time Shift: MON TUE WED THU FRI 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Overview

Find your future at Fastenal! Our distribution center is hiring energetic, team-oriented individuals to work in our fast-paced warehouse. As a Full-time Receiving Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Receiving department, verifying incoming inventory, preparing products for transfer, and guiding the team to ensure efficient and accurate operations. We are committed to environmental protection and providing a safe workplace. This position may offer a flexible schedule after onboarding, training, and performance achievement.

Responsibilities
  1. Lead and train team members
  2. Communicate with employees and branches
  3. Unload products
  4. Inspect products for quality and accuracy
  5. Use scales for weighing products
  6. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  7. Comply with health, safety, and sustainability rules
  8. Participate in health, safety, and sustainability programs
  9. Complete environmental health and safety training
Required Qualifications
  1. Prior experience at Fastenal or in warehouse/distribution
  2. Proficient in written and oral communication
  3. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  4. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  5. Motivated, self-directed, customer service-oriented
  6. Ability to lead and motivate a team
  7. Ability to work independently and in teams
  8. Strong math skills, attention to detail, sense of urgency
  9. Willing to work flexible hours and overtime
  10. Uphold core values: ambition, innovation, integrity, teamwork
  11. Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25-50 lbs, up to 100 lbs
  12. Pass drug screening
