Lakeside Surfaces in Muskegon, MI is seeking a Receiving and Receiving Coordinator to safely unload, inspect, and organize inbound materials for our premium stone products. You will manage forklift and crane operations, verify freight accuracy, and maintain ERP-driven stock control to support a fast-paced manufacturing flow.

Competenze

• Ability to operate fork truck in dry, wet, and cold environments outdoors and indoors.
• Prefer two years of experience or more working in a production shop.
• Great computer, math and measuring skills.
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Organized and punctual
• Detail oriented
• Experience operating fork trucks and hand jacks
• Experience with granite and quartz countertops a plus
• Experience in shipping and/or receiving is a plus

Mansioni

• Unload high-value stone slabs using a 12,000 lb forklift.
• Receive and disposition materials using a pallet jack.
• Operate overhead cranes to unload slabs.
• Audit inbound freight for accuracy and potential damage.
• Document freight issues to Material Coordinators.
• Organize and label inventory per Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Use ERP to receive freight, enter details, and locate inventory.
• Support JIT receipts with Operations and Supply Chain.
• Identify damaged freight and communicate with coordinators.
• Maintain inventory accuracy via routine counts.
• Prepare and communicate needs for purchases.
• Participate in weekly production meetings to improve processes.
• Assist other departments with daily workload.
