Job summary

Dogwood Industries is seeking a Receiving Material Handler to join our Sedro-Woolley factory team. You will facilitate receipt and storage of materials used in manufacturing, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery to production, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Ideal candidates have forklift experience, strong organization, and proven ability to work with procurement, supervisors and shop staff to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards. Onsite work with benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of forklift experience.
• Experience in construction, warehouse, or manufacturing.
• Shipping/receiving experience is a plus.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe; strong written communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a calendar of incoming materials and developing plans for the off-loading of materials.
• Accurately fulfill department requisitions and deliver parts throughout factory.
• Responsible for material inspections.
• Review purchase orders.
• Ensure proper documentation of materials is complete.
• Accurately follow material control procedures.
• Effectively communicate with procurement staff, supervisors, and relevant production staff regarding material deliveries.
• Responsible for material inventory and material storage.
• Meet critical deadlines and schedules.
• Follow safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Perform general site clean-up and preparation tasks.
• Move materials safely and effectively through the factory with the required equipment.
