Job summary

Dogwood Industries is seeking a Receiving Material Handler to join our manufacturing team at the Sedro-Woolley site. The role focuses on the efficient receipt and storage of materials used in our panelized buildings, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation throughout the process.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience operating a forklift.
• Previous construction, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
• Previous shipping and/or receiving experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a calendar of incoming materials and develop plans for off-loading.
• Accurately fulfill department requisitions and deliver parts throughout factory.
• Responsible for material inspections and reviewing purchase orders.
• Ensure proper documentation of materials is complete and follow material control procedures.
• Communicate effectively with procurement staff, supervisors, and production staff regarding deliveries.
• Maintain material inventory and storage; meet deadlines and schedules.
• Follow safety guidelines and perform site clean-up and prep tasks.
• Move materials safely through the factory using required equipment.
