Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Warehouse Receiver to handle receiving, inspection, and put-away of materials at the Denton site. You will verify quantities against POs, document discrepancies, and ensure accurate stock entries. Forklift operation may be required as part of daily tasks.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, two years of warehouse experience, and basic computer skills. A customer-service mindset is essential in this position.

Qualifications

• Two years of receiving/warehouse experience.
• Moderate computer knowledge.
• Knowledge of mechanical parts nomenclature.
• Customer-service oriented attitude required.

Responsibilities

• Receive all delivery trucks.
• Inspect incoming material for damages and PO specifications.
• Unload trucks and provide a receiving signature.
• Unpack material to verify quantities.
• Match delivered quantities with PO/packing slips and other docs.
• Notify appropriate department for discrepancies; transfer to RTV/QA hold as needed.
• Mark materials with SATS or job numbers; enter packing slips in system.
• Move materials to bin locations or other areas; perform put-away.
