Job summary

HHM Hotels is seeking a Receiving Agent to check and receive all goods and packages, ensuring quality, quantity and price meet hotel standards. You will manage storage, organize deliveries, and support inventory and shipping needs in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role requires forklift certification within 90 days, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and basic computer skills. A flexible schedule including weekends and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work in varying climates and environments.
• Basic computer knowledge (Outlook, Excel and Word).

Responsibilities

• Receive and check all goods and deliveries for quality, quantity and price.
• Ensure storage rooms and coolers are secured.
• Retrieve and distribute daily requisitions to outlets.
• Verify quantity, quality, weight and appearance against hotel standards.
• Store products using the FIFO method.
• Notify Purchasing Manager of deficiencies and urgent items.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage rooms, walk-in coolers and freezers.
• Assist in performing monthly inventory.
• Log temperatures of walk-in coolers and freezers and report issues.
• Notify departments of receipt and arrange collection or delivery.
• Handle FedEx and UPS packages for guests and residents.
• Dispose of empty boxes and pallets properly.
• Keep loading dock organized and clear.
• Attend and complete all required training/classes.
