Job summary

Four Winds Casino and Resort in South Bend, IN seeks a Receiving Clerk to support the Finance Department by managing incoming shipments and ensuring accurate, timely intake of goods. You will verify orders, coordinate with accounts payable, and maintain proper storage conditions under FIFO guidelines.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack operation, a valid driver’s license, and a DOT physical. A high school diploma is preferred and a Level 4 Gaming License is a requirement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Effective communication, organizational and analytical skills are required.
• Experience in warehouse/receiving preferred, with forklift and driving duties a plus.

Responsibilities

• Receives shipments and coordinates workflow for timely deliveries.
• Maintains knowledge of dry goods, paper products, chemicals, and food/beverage specs.
• Ensures shipments arrive in good, undamaged condition.
• Verifies orders with accounts payable and attaches invoice to PO.
• Operates forklift, pallet jack, box truck; drives safely.
• Rotates stock using FIFO and ensures proper storage conditions.
• Attends departmental meetings to support information flow.
• Performs general shipping/receiving duties and daily documentation.
