Walmart Sam’s Club in Houston, TX is seeking a Warehouse Associate to maintain and process shipments, organize the Receiving area, and verify merchandise counts. The role emphasizes safety, policy compliance, and efficient collaboration with managers and teammates.

Qualifications

• Forklift Certification OR will obtain a Forklift Certification within 30 days of job entry date.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and process shipments by developing and posting delivery schedules, compiling and organizing receiving reports, verifying merchandise counts, routing merchandise to proper locations, and paying expenses.
• Receive merchandise for the facility and organize the Receiving area following company procedures; utilize equipment and complete required documentation.
• Track and process claims by returning damaged goods, handling liquidation merchandise, maintaining and cleaning the clearance area; capture required reporting using technology.
• Maintain safety by following safety standards, conducting safety sweeps, and handling hazardous materials per guidelines; report unsafe situations to management.
• Collaborate with managers, coworkers, customers, and partners to identify priorities, deadlines, and actions; communicate progress and adapt to changes.
