Job summary

Stark Carpet seeks a detail-oriented Receiving/Inventory Clerk to accurately receive, document, and process incoming shipments. The role involves verifying against POs, packing lists, and system data, while ensuring proper labeling and routing to correct locations.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Receive incoming inventory, materials, samples, supplies, and other shipments accurately and efficiently.
Verify shipments against purchase orders, packing lists, and system information.
Confirm quantities, descriptions, measurements, labels, and other shipment details.
Inspect incoming materials for visible damage, shortages, overages, or discrepancies.
Accurately process receiving transactions within applicable company systems.
Maintain accurate receiving documentation and records.
Coordinate with warehouse personnel to move received materials to the proper location.
Cross-train in other departments to provide flexibility and coverage.
Maintain a clean, organized receiving area.
