Cardinal Health is seeking a Coordinator Inventory Management in Omaha to track inventory accuracy, process returns and recalls, and ensure orders are fulfilled on time. The role supports cross-functional teams and monitors the financial impact of stock levels.

Ideal candidates will have experience with inventory records, RF scanners, and warehouse systems, along with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate pallet jacks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with inventory management, stocking and accurate records preferred.
• Experience using scanners, warehouse systems and basic computer applications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; good documentation.

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, ensuring safe and accurate handling.
• Inspect inbound freight for damage, verify quantities, report discrepancies.
• Use RF scanners and inventory systems to track product movement and update records.
• Stock, organize, and replenish inventory to support efficiency.
• Deliver inventory and supplies to designated locations timely.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, shortages.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order discrepancies and availability.
• Maintain a clean, safe dock, warehouse and storage areas following safety standards.
• Collaborate with team and other departments to meet goals.
• Follow company policies and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement.

What Inventory Management contributes to Cardinal Health

Inventory Management is accountable for the design and execution of demand planning and customer forecasting systems, supply planning, product deployment and expediting processes, and the development and implementation of a stocking optimization model to minimize costs and inventory while delivering on service requirements.

Job Summary

The Coordinator Inventory Management is responsible for tracking and managing inventory accuracy of products. This job processes returns and recalls related to distributed products and fills out necessary paperwork as needed. The Coordinator, Inventory Management plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are filled on time and accurately. This job tracks the financial impact of inventory levels and frequently communicates cross functionally with internal teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• Experience with inventory management, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory records preferred.
• Experience using scanners, warehouse systems, and basic computer applications preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to complete accurate documentation.
• Ability to safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to routinely lift, move, bend, and transport products weighing up to 50 pounds in a fast-paced environment
• Customer/vendor credentialing is required (this may include vaccinations). More details will be provided if you are selected for an interview.

• Deliver inventory, supplies, and materials to designated customer and departmental locations in a timely manner.
• Investigate and report inventory discrepancies, damaged products, and stock shortages to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding order discrepancies, product availability, and service-related issues by researching and resolving concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in dock, warehouse, and storage areas while adhering to company safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet inventory, service, and operational goals.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
