Job summary

Elevant Recruiting is seeking a Receiving Inspector for an aerospace manufacturing client. The role focuses on verifying incoming parts meet quality, engineering, and customer specs before entering production.

The position offers a 7am–4:30pm shift, room to grow within a well-established quality team, and competitive hourly compensation in California.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong blueprint reading and basic GD&T understanding.
• Proficient in the use of manual inspection tools.
• Comfortable documenting inspection results and communicating with teams.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. Person (Citizen or Permanent Resident) per ITAR regulations.
• Vision: 20/25 or better (corrective lenses acceptable); cannot be colorblind.

Responsibilities

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections on incoming parts, hose assemblies, and machined components.

• Use tools including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.
• Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and maintain accurate inspection records.

• Support occasional in-process inspections and internal audits.
• Follow company safety policies, quality procedures, and 5S standards.

Were currently hiring on behalf of a client in the aerospace and manufacturing sector that's expanding their quality team with a Receiving Inspector .

SHIFT : 7am - 4:30pm
