Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Quality Control Technician in San Jose, CA to perform routine inspections of incoming materials and components, ensuring compliance with documented requirements. The role involves maintaining RI metrics, supporting process improvements, and escalating discrepancies for review.

The position requires attention to detail, careful recordkeeping, and effective communication with Receiving, Quality, and other teams to resolve routine questions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and follow written work instructions and record inspection results accurately.
• Ability to use basic computer applications and learn site systems.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase orders, packing slips, certificates, drawings, specifications, and inspection instructions.
• Verify incoming material identity, quantity, labeling, condition, and required documentation.
• Perform visual and basic measurement inspections using approved methods and tools.
• Record inspection results accurately in the applicable system and maintain traceability.
• Identify, label, and segregate material that is damaged or does not meet requirements.
