Job summary

Ollie’s Bargain Outlet is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to supervise the receiving area, ensuring efficient freight flow to the sales floor and timely processing of shipments. You will maintain back stock, manage damaged goods, and uphold merchandising standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, at least 6 months at a mid- to large-size retailer, and flexible scheduling including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and delegate tasks within strict timeframes and deadlines.
• Must have a positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments of merchandise.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while maintaining equipment and a safe, orderly dock and exterior.
• Adhere to company standards, confirm the accuracy of all incoming merchandise and set up displays.
• Prepare and process outbound transfers of merchandise and fixtures as required.
• Direct the work of other Associates who are assisting with freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty and complete any additional responsibilities as assigned including opening and closing of the store.
