Job summary

Ollie's Bargain Outlet in Lafayette is seeking a Receiving Team Leader to oversee the receiving area, ensuring efficient freight flow and compliance with merchandising standards. This role serves as a keyholder, coordinating back stock and ensuring secure store operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
• Schedule flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to supervise and direct other associates.

Responsibilities

• Plan, unload, check in, and support merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage freight flow in the receiving area and maintain a safe dock area.
• Direct the work of other associates and act as Manager on Duty, including opening/closing the store.
