Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands in Denver, CO is seeking a Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations. You will load, ship, receive and scan inventory to ensure accuracy, and operate forklift and other material handling equipment to optimize logistics.

The role requires at least 2 years of forklift experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Shift is 1st: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm, Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years forklift operating experience or combination of forklift experience and material handling work.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis and stand/walk for long durations.
• Vision abilities including near and far, color and depth perception.

Responsibilities

• Assist supply chain by collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products.
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment.
• Use RF scanning to ensure inventory accuracy and process materials timely.
• Pick, wrap, and stage orders for outbound delivery.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts and equipment and identify safety hazards.

Base Pay: $22.00 per hour

1st Shift: 6:00 am - 4:30 pm - Monday through Thursday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• The Forklift Operator is responsible to provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business.

• Operate Forklift
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Scan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped and load material on outbound delivery trucks for customer orders
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
• Consolidate partial pallets for incoming goods
• A minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience or combination of forklift experience and material handling work highly preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist
• Ability to walk/stand for long durations (duration of shift excluding breaks).
• Vision abilities to include close, distance, peripheral, color and depth differentiation
• Use of hands and fingers for fine manipulation
• Ability to perform specific tasks that involve climbing and kneeling
• Frequent exposure to dust and debris from the production process
• Frequent exposure to loud noises
