Midwest Shoe Merchants in New Berlin, WI is seeking a full-time Receiving Associate / Driver. The role supports inventory movement, inspections, and timely deliveries to stores and partners, with a mix of warehouse duties and driving responsibilities.

You will handle inbound/outbound shipments, update inventory records, and help keep operations running smoothly. Requirements include warehouse experience, attention to detail, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehouse, receiving, stockroom, or similar environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks.
• Comfortable using inventory systems and basic computer applications.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass a background and motor vehicle check.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Unloading, sorting, labeling, and storing merchandise in designated areas.
• Tracking and updating inventory movements in systems.
• Maintaining accurate records of inventory counts and adjustments.
• Identifying and reporting damaged or incorrect shipments.
• Picking, packing, and labeling outgoing shipments.
• Preparing packing slips and shipment documentation.
• Operating company vehicles to deliver merchandise to stores and partners.
• Loading, securing, transporting, and unloading product with care.
• Communicating delivery instructions and discrepancies with store teams.
• Keeping receiving and warehouse areas organized and safe.
