Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Receiving Coord - Supply Chain to manage the intake of freight and medical supplies, stock clinical areas, and distribute items across the hospital. You will also coordinate receiving activities and maintain related paperwork to support inventory and purchasing.

The role requires attention to detail, strong communication with staff and vendors, and the physical ability to lift and move supplies in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; previous hospital or supply experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Position: Receiving Coord - Supply Chain

Position Summary:

Receives freight, supplies and equipment delivered to NWTHS. Stocks clinical departments with medical supplies and equipment and distributes supplies to all hospital departments. Delivers mail, records and supplies to off-site facilities and physician offices. Coordinates the receiving processes.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

Receives shipments from vendors or freight lines. Stocks supply lockers. Distributes supplies and equipment to all hospital departments. Processes and maintains paperwork for receiving, inventory and Corporate purchase orders. Tracks patient-care equipment. Monitors expiration dates and stocks shelves. Communicates with hospital staff regarding shipments, supplies and equipment. Delivers to off-site facilities and physician offices. Coordinates the receiving processes.

Qualifications

Education, Training, Experience and Licenses/Registrations Required:

High School Diploma or GED desired.
Previous hospital or supply experience preferred.
