What will I be doing?
  • Receive, inspect, and verify the accuracy of incoming deliveries against purchase orders and invoices.
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of all received goods, especially perishable and high-end items.
  • Handle and store alcohol and luxury beverages according to hotel policies and local regulations.
  • Safely unload delivery trucks using proper equipment and lifting techniques.
  • Report discrepancies, damages, or spoiled goods promptly to the appropriate department.
  • Label, document, and store items in designated locations to maintain inventory flow.
  • Coordinate with vendors, procurement, and kitchen teams for timely delivery and issue resolution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of receiving and storage areas.
  • Assist in inventory counts and stock rotation using FIFO principles.
  • Follow all safety, hygiene, and workplace protocols.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and potentially forklifts (if certified).

The pay rate ranges from $28.85 to $38.47, based on experience.

We seek a detail-oriented Receiving Clerk responsible for accurately receiving, inspecting, and organizing incoming goods, with a focus on premium food and beverage items, including alcohol. Strong organization and attention to detail are essential for smooth operations.

  • 1–2 years in receiving, warehouse, or logistics roles, preferably in hospitality, foodservice, or luxury retail.
  • Ability to lift, push, and carry up to 50 lbs; capable of walking, standing, bending, and climbing stairs/ladders frequently.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, perishables, and handling luxury goods like alcohol.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Basic math and computer proficiency.
  • Excellent communication skills.
