Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Receiving Clerk to help in the Receiving area, including unloading trucks, stocking items, pricing, and processing returns. The role requires keeping the Receiving area organized and aligned with Corporate standards, while delivering friendly service to customers and colleagues.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, basic arithmetic skills, and the ability to communicate professionally.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks and stock merchandise.
• Ticket merchandise and process returns.

• Assist in pricing and inventory control.
• Follow company policies and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Support customer service and stay aware of advertised sales.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receiving Clerk performs work in the Receiving area of the store to include merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing and, merchandise returns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.
• Unloads trucks, stocks merchandise, tickets merchandise and processes returns.
• Maintains Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.
• Interacts with other associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner.
• Keeps work area clean, neat and safe.
• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.
• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to perform simple math (arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication)
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
