Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Receiving Clerk to perform stocking, pricing, and returns in the Receiving area. The role supports a safe, organized receiving space and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities include unloading trucks, stocking and pricing merchandise, and ensuring the Receiving area aligns with corporate standards. You will interact with teammates, follow policies, and stay informed about advertised sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic (add/subtract/multiply).
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work well with colleagues and management.

Responsibilities

• Unload trucks, stock merchandise, ticket merchandise and process returns.
• Maintain Receiving area layout as directed by Corporate Office.
• Interact with associates in a friendly, professional manner.
• Keep work area clean, neat and safe and follow company policies.
• Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales and props for promotions.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Receiving Clerk performs work in the Receiving area of the store to include merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing and, merchandise returns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.


• Unloads trucks, stocks merchandise, tickets merchandise and processes returns.


• Maintains Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.


• Interacts with other associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner.


• Keeps work area clean, neat and safe.


• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.


• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales.


• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY

• Ability to perform simple math (arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication)


• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates


• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
