Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Receiving Clerk in Bolingbrook, IL to handle unloading trucks, stocking, pricing, and processing returns in the Receiving area.

The role requires maintaining the Receiving area layout per corporate directives, delivering friendly customer service, and collaborating with coworkers while adhering to company policies. This is a part-time position with benefits and a starting pay rate of $15.00–$17.75 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to perform simple arithmetic operations.
• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner with customers and associates.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management, coworkers and customers.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Receiving Clerk performs work in the Receiving area of the store to include merchandise stocking, inventory control, pricing and, merchandise returns.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.


• Unloads trucks, stocks merchandise, tickets merchandise and processes returns.


• Maintains Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office.


• Interacts with other associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner.


• Keeps work area clean, neat and safe.


• Follows all Company Policies and Procedures.


• Remains knowledgeable of advertised sales.


• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:

• Ability to perform simple math (arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication)


• Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates


• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers
