Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience with forklift/overhead crane is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Unload, unpack and inspect incoming shipments; record shortages and damages.
• Verify quantities, weights, and measurements against records.
• Enter receipts into ERP system.
• Communicate with purchasing to rectify issues with deliveries.

About This Opportunity

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, verifying, and keeping records on incoming shipments. The Receiving Clerk will interact with shop employees along with external vendors delivering material to GFS..

What You Will Do

• Unload, unpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record any shortages, and correspond with purchasing to rectify damages and shortages
• Operate mobile equipment such as forklifts and overhead crane daily.
• Enter receipts into current ERP system
• Compare identifying information such as counts, weight, and measurements, to verify information against corresponding records

What You Have to Offer
