Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions in Osseo, Wisconsin, is seeking an Assembler I to build pallets and crates in our assembly area. You will follow blueprints, cut wood, and use hand and pneumatic tools to prepare products for shipment while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

You will read tape measures to 1/16 inch, verify components, and assist with basic tool maintenance. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork, with opportunities for growth and stability.

Qualifications

As an Assembler I, you play a key role in preparing products for their final journey. In our assembly crating area, you'll build pallets and crates by cutting wood and assembling materials to ensure products are protected and ready for shipment. Using a variety of hand and pneumatic tools, you'll follow blueprints and instructions to create strong, secure packaging that supports safe delivery to our customers. Working alongside your team, you'll help keep materials organized and production moving efficiently.

What Success Looks Like

• Build pallets and standard assemblies by following blueprints and work instructions with accuracy and consistency
• Read and understand tape measurements down to 1/16" to ensure precise cuts and proper fit
• Use hand and pneumatic tools-such as nail guns, saws, screw guns, and staplers-to assemble and secure materials
• Verify blueprints, schematics, and paperwork to ensure all components are correct before and during assembly
• Support the build process by performing basic preventative maintenance on tools and equipment as needed
• Safely operate equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials and support workflow
• Follow GFS Quality Management System (QMS) standards in all aspects of your work
• Work alongside your team to keep production moving efficiently while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace
• Take pride in your work-knowing the crates and builds you create protect our products and support successful delivery to our customers

Transparent Rewards

Pay Range: $18.50 - $20.67 per hour, as applicable, based on your experience, skills, and qualifications.

Bonus Eligibility: This position is eligible for an annual individual incentive based on company performance. Maximum bonus amounts may vary depending on role.
