Job summary

Tower Extrusions, LLC. is seeking a Receiving Clerk at our Wylie, TX facility to inspect and document incoming material. You will verify loads against packing lists, document damage, photos, and discrepancies, and cover the shipping clerk when needed.

The role requires attention to detail, comfort with outdoor dock work, and timely updates to records and CSR communications. Weekly pay and benefits are provided, with opportunities to support shipping operations daily.

Qualifications

• Previous receiving, warehouse, or quality inspection experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail for verifying material against paperwork
• Comfortable with photo documentation and shared drive uploads
• Able to work on the receiving floor and communicate discrepancies clearly
• This role is not desk-only; expect regular time outdoors on the shipping/receiving dock and yard.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the shipping supervisor on loads scheduled to be received
• Inspect loads before and during unloading, documenting any damage with photos
• Compare received material to the packing list, including die, finish, length, and piece count
• Photograph bundles, pallets, and racks along with tickets, and upload to the shared drive
• Report damage and paperwork discrepancies to respective departments or shippers
• Email the customer's CSR when discrepancies are found in material received
• Cover the shipping clerk position when needed
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned by the shipping supervisor or manager
