Job summary

Elite Staffing Inc. in Roselle, IL is seeking a Receiving Clerk with bilingual preference to handle receiving, inventory control, and related administrative tasks in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Responsibilities include verifying receipts, maintaining records, and coordinating with carriers. Proficiency with ERP and MS Office is expected; ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work overtime as needed is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school education and two to three years of factory related experience in Receiving.
• Must be able to read and write English and perform basic math.
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Receive orders against P.O.s and prepare stock for storage or shipment.
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices.
• Maintain records of received goods and inventory accuracy.
• Operate time and attendance system; cross-train across plant areas.
• Work with carriers to ensure timely receiving schedules.
• Enter receipt activity into ERP/system using scanning equipment.
• Overtime may be required.

RECEIVING CLERK Bilingual Preferred

Job Duties:

• Receive orders against P.O.s, put stock away in warehouse or prepare for shipment to different company locations.
• Check goods received against purchase orders or invoices
• Maintains records of received goods
• Manage inventory of products stored in the warehouse; ensure inventory accuracy
• Work with carriers to ensure a timely and efficient Receiving schedule.-
• Update computer system with receipt activity-
• 100% inventory accuracy-
• Excellent warehouse organization and housekeeping a must.-
• Operate the time and attendance system.
• MUST be able to work overtime when needed.
• Using scanning equipment to enter information into our system.
• Must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of the plant to ensure total coverage in case of schedule changes.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Sit-down forklift experience a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus, not required.
• May require some heavy lifting (up to 70lbs.)
• Able to work on computer to use Microsoft Office and ERP system
• Reliability (i.e. excellent attendance record)
• Minimum of a high school education and two to three years of factory related experience in Receiving.
• Required to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.6am-4:30pm
