Job summary

Elite Staffing Inc is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our warehouse team in Lake Zurich, IL. You will verify and document all shipments, maintain precise inventory in the WMS, and stock inventory in designated bays while supporting cycle counts and audits.

The role requires basic computer skills, attention to detail, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred; bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including Email, Word, Excel and WMS.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Familiarity with freight documents (BOLs, packing slips, invoices).
• Understanding of inventory control and warehouse safety practices.
• HS diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and document discrepancies such as shortages, overages, and damaged materials.
• Maintain accurate inventory records within the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Receive and stock inventory in designated bay locations.
• Communicate shipment status and inventory updates with internal teams.
• Organize staging areas and assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Prepare shipping documentation as required.

Requirements
