Job summary

Jetro Restaurant Depot is seeking a Receiving Clerk to support the Receiving Department. You will work with the Receiving Manager to maintain accurate records of shipments and related transactions, and to communicate discrepancies promptly.

Responsibilities include scheduling deliveries, coordinating returns and credits, data entry for merchandise, and ensuring professional service to internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year similar experience.
• Ability to effectively present information to managers, employees, vendors and buyers.
• Ability to calculate figures, discounts, interest and proportions.
• Computer literate with basic software usage.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Commitment to company values and strong customer orientation.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and monitors deliveries.
• Communicates via phone, in person and email to coordinate returns, rejections and credits.
• Inputs high volume information into the computer about incoming/outgoing merchandise.
• Checks and records quantities for conformity to PO and specs.
• Records and reports shortages and discrepancies.
• Provides friendly, efficient, professional customer service.
