Position Summary

The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, repacking, verifying, sorting, and distribution of supplies and equipment coming into the facility. Performs a full range of routine and non-routine materials duties in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.

Qualifications

The following qualifications are the minimum requirements necessary to adequately perform this job. However, an equivalent combination of experience, education and training which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent.

Experience: Some warehouse experience is desirable, but not essential. Knowledge of medical supplies is desired. Worker can reach full productivity with on-the-job training. Basic computer skills are necessary. Good communication and math skills are required.

Other: Must have valid driver’s license with MVR record acceptable to the Company’s auto liability insurance.

Physical Requirements

Work involves moving, lifting, loading and unloading of different weight materials. Must be able to lift and move 50 lbs. Work requires walking and/or standing for the majority of the workday.
