Job summary

Behr Iron & Metal, an Alter Company, is seeking a Full Time Production Associate in South Beloit, IL. You will identify inbound non-ferrous metals, weigh material, and input correct codes, guiding items to their proper locations within a fast-paced recycling operation.

Responsibilities include weighing materials, assisting customers at the retail scale, entering data, and processing transactions for payments.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience required.
• Warehouse experience preferred.
• Metal scrap experience preferred.

Salary Range: $17.00 To $20.00 Hourly

The Role:

This position identifies and receives inbound non-ferrous metals to be recycled from the general public. This process is done by weighing material, inputting the correct commodity code into the system and then putting the material in its proper location.
