Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a Receiving Clerk for our Lithia Springs, GA location. You will be essential in receiving schedules for dry, frozen, or perishable products, and you will assign loads to doors while balancing purchase orders and handling freight, billing, and payments.

The role starts at $19.60/hour with a $1.00 second shift premium, with a Sunday-Thursday schedule (2nd shift 6:00 PM – 2:30 PM).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• PIV certification is required.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Prior experience preferred, but not required.

As a Receiving Clerk, you’ll be essential in receiving schedules for dry, frozen, or perishable products. You’ll assign loads to doors, balances, purchase orders, and process freight handling, billing, and payments.

Pay:

Starting at $19.60/hour (includes a $1.00 2nd shift premium)

Work Schedule:

Sunday - Thursday work week, with Friday and Saturdays off 2nd Shift - 6:00 PM - 2:30 PM

Eligibility & Requirements

Does this look like you? You must be 18 years of age or older. Industrial Vehicle (PIV) certification is required. Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers! Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions). Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check Prior experience preferred, but not required.
