Job summary

Cat-i Glass in South Elgin, IL is seeking a Receiving Clerk to keep materials flowing, log inventory, and ensure accurate stock levels. This on-dock role requires attention to detail, safety, and the ability to interact with personnel at all levels while coordinating with suppliers and internal teams.

You will receive incoming materials, log into ERP, pull and deliver orders, inspect quality, and conduct weekly inventories.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• 2–3 years of warehouse experience.
• ERP system experience and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials and log into database.
• Pull orders from tickets and deliver to departments.
• Update inventory stock levels accurately.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing product quality and report defects to management.
• Maintain stock and merchandise in the mezzanine.
• Conduct weekly on-hand inventory audits.
• Load finished goods for shipment; operate forklifts safely (certification).
• Take on other duties as they come up.

You'll receive incoming materials from suppliers, log them into our system, pull and deliver orders, and make sure our inventory numbers always tell the truth. You'll frequently lift and place product up to 50 lbs on pallets at various heights, move merchandise between the mezzanine and manufacturing departments, and spend your day sitting, standing, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking throughout the facility — including up and down stairs.
