Job summary

Burnett Staffing Specialists in El Paso, TX is seeking a Warehouse Receiver / Warehouse Associate to join our team. You will receive and unload shipments with a forklift, verify quantities, and enter data into the WMS.

The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and excellent customer service while assisting showroom customers and loading purchases. This is a full-time position located in El Paso, Texas.

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse receiving or warehouse experience preferred.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Experience using a Warehouse Management System (WMS) is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
• Strong computer and data entry skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic math skills for inventory verification.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload shipments using forklift and equipment.
• Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and quantity.
• Verify products against packing slips and PO.
• Enter receiving data into the WMS.
• Label, sort, and stock inventory.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process receiving paperwork (packing slips, invoices).
• Report discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
• Pull and stage customer sales orders.
• Keep the sales order area organized.
• Maintain a clean receiving dock and warehouse.
• Operate baler and recycle materials properly.
• Assist showroom customers, including loading purchases.
• Make local deliveries when needed.

Warehouse Receiver / Warehouse Associate Location: El Paso, TX Job Type: Full-Time Pay rate: $15/hr. We are looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Receiver / Warehouse Associate to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in receiving inventory, maintaining accurate stock levels, pulling sales orders, assisting customers, and ensuring our warehouse remains clean, safe, and organized.

Responsibilities

• Receive and unload incoming shipments using a forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Inspect shipments for damage, accuracy, and quantity.
• Verify products against packing slips and purchase orders.
• Enter receiving information into the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Label, sort, and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Process receiving paperwork, including packing slips and invoices.
• Report shipment discrepancies or damaged merchandise.
• Pull and stage customer sales orders accurately.
• Keep the sales order area organized to prevent duplicate pulls.
• Maintain a clean and organized receiving dock and warehouse.
