Job summary

Boyd Gaming in Louisiana is seeking a Receiving Barn Attendant to keep our equine receiving barn clean, organized, and ready for guests. You will perform daily deep cleans, rake and shape stalls, and maintain a welcoming space.

This role requires physical work, ability to lift, walk, stand, and use hand and power tools. Strong communication is essential, and you may handle basic maintenance like hanging gates and bulb replacement.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must be able to walk, stand, lift, shovel, rake, reach, bend, and twist throughout shift.
• Must be skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily Deep Cleans: tackle shed rows and stalls with enthusiasm each day, getting everything sparkling clean before our equine guests arrive.
• Rake & Shape: keep those shed rows and stalls looking sharp and well-maintained with expert raking.
• Curb Appeal Champion: transform the receiving barn into a welcoming, presentable space that makes a great impression.
• Handy Problem-Solver: take on maintenance tasks like hanging gates, installing screw eyes, swapping out light bulbs, and tackling other barn projects that keep everything running smoothly.
