Job summary

Delta Downs Racetrack Casino Hotel is seeking a Receiving Barn Attendant to keep our receiving barns clean, organized, and ready for horses. You will perform daily deep cleans, rake and shape stalls, and enhance curb appeal to create a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities include basic maintenance such as hanging gates, installing screw eyes, swapping light bulbs, and other barn projects to ensure smooth operations. Candidates must be 18+, with good physical fitness and tool skills.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Walk, stand, lift, shovel, rake, reach, bend, and twist throughout shift.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain licenses and/or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Daily Deep Cleans: tidy shed rows and stalls before equine arrivals.
• Rake & Shape: maintain shed rows and stalls.
• Curb Appeal Champion: create welcoming, presentable barn space.
• Handy Problem-Solver: perform maintenance tasks like hanging gates and replacing bulbs.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily Deep Cleans: Tackle shed rows and stalls with enthusiasm each day, getting everything sparkling clean before our equine guests arrive
• Rake & Shape: Keep those shed rows and stalls looking sharp and well-maintained with expert raking
• Curb Appeal Champion: Transform the receiving barn into a welcoming, presentable space that makes a great impression
• Handy Problem-Solver: Take on maintenance tasks like hanging gates, installing screw eyes, swapping out light bulbs, and tackling other barn projects that keep everything running smoothly
